Monika's Guest House is just 500 m outside of Volksrust and conveniently situated on the Battlefield route, halfway between the Kruger National Park and the Southern Drakensberg.

Situated in beautiful gardens, Monika's Guesthouse offers well-appointed B&B accommodation with dinner available on request. On offer are 10 en-suite bedrooms with TVs and tea and coffee-making facilities. There is also a guest lounge with a TV. As an added benefit, a laundry and bar service is also available.

The area offers much to do such as angling, hiking, horse rides and birdwatching. The tranquil surroundings are also very conducive to a peaceful stay, so feel free to simply relax and enjoy your vacation.

Very disappointed by

Clean and comfortable rooms. One bedroom only had a very small bath and no shower. No breakfast on Sundays, although we were not informed of this.

Good by

The staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spotless. Nice atmosphere and pleasant gardens to stroll through. The art was interesting.

did not sleep a wink by

Had to suffer night club music from Saturday afternoon 5pm to Sunday morning 4am from a nearby area. Traffic noise also exeptionaly high
