With breathtaking views across Monkey Bay we have hosted great explorers and Presidents alike. Guests can enjoy a wonderful breakfast on the front veranda as they watch Fish Eagles soar across the bay.

While our rooms are simple, yet tastefully furnished, they also offer luxury comforts such as cotton linen, guest amenities and comfortable beds, and en-suite bathrooms.

There is plenty to do in the area, including diving, fishing, sightseeing, braaiing and swimming.

We enjoyed the kayak to the island and snorkeling. The evenings are beautiful and very quiet. However, there are a number of improvements that need to made immediately. Guests need to be informed well in advance that there are no credit card facilities at the beach lodge; this created a great inconvenience to my wife and I as we were assured that we could pay with the credit card. Hence, one day was spent travelling to Mangochi looking for cash (unacceptable, considering were wrongly informed) Not organized with pricing and we were incorrectly billed. Accommodation not comfortable, beds old and worn out, one night we had no water...! Warren, Frank and Sebastian are friendly, but they need to be more organized and guest oriented. There is no option for rating either. Overall experience was not great.
