Monzi Safaris Backpackers is situated in the little leafy town of St Lucia.

The backpackers has an array of accommodation, there are three double rooms, three double tents, six female tents and five shared dorm-style tents - Glamping. There are modern ablution facilities, an outdoor fully equipped kitchen, a braai area and a sundeck with a swimming pool.The pool area is a great social gathering area with gazebos, lounge suits and pool loungers.

St Lucia has many great attractions in and around the area, including the Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park and the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park.Activities also include Hippo and Croc cruises on Lake St Lucia, kayaking, deep sea fishing, whale watching, turtle tours and culture tours.

What a wonderful stay we had at Monzi Safari Backpackers! It is a very well run beautiful establishment with awesome modern stylish facilities. The staff were absolutely amazing really going the extra mile especially the kitchen staff and security guards. Very pleasant stay thank you!

Returned to this establishment a second time and we were very happy with everything. Will definatley go there again.

Sleeping inside the tent by

I loved the place as whole but water was cold in the morning when i took a shower. No toilet papers at night. Tents are also far from the toilets.
