Mooihoek is a spacious rondavel chalet, ideal as a self-catering vacation unit to enjoy all the natural splendour of the surrounding area. Mooihoek is situated on the Rebellie Game Farm, located 14 km from Clarens, with a dirt-road stretch of 10 km. The accommodation can sleep up to eight guests within two double bedrooms and a further two bedrooms in the loft.

The main bedroom is fitted with a queen-size bed while the remaining rooms have twin beds. These bedrooms are serviced by two full bathrooms, one of which has a lovely view. The fireplace in the centre of the unit, with its chimney extending through the double volume of the chalet, creates an interesting feature. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge with comfortable seating, a dining area and a deck complete with a built-in braai. The unit features fantastic panoramic views.

Nestled in the serene mountainous landscape of the majestic Maluti Mountains, Rebellie Game Farm offers the perfect sanctuary away from everyday city life, noise and stress. Boasting one of the top 10 4x4 trails in South Africa according to Drive Out Magazine 2005, Rebellie specializes in catering for the 4x4 enthusiast. The abundance of game and bird life also ensures prime viewing on mountain walks.

Stayed with my brother and sister from Australia and Thailand on 20 April 2016. Enjoyed it tremendously.
The view is magnificent and Nic was very friendly and helpful.

Awesome by

I booked in at Mooihoek as a last minute arrangement and knowing very little about the place I was rather apprehensive about going there. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised at the facilities on offer and absolutely loved the place. Having arrived in the dark, the next morning I was welcomed to some spectacular views from all sides of the unit.... WOW!
