Mosaic Cottages

On the water, by the sea with magnificent mountain views, Mosaic Sanctuary is a boutique guest resort between the Atlantic Ocean, Hermanus Lagoon and Overberg Mountains. One the greatest hidden gems on the famous Cape Whale Coast, Mosaic Cottages offer accommodation, beach and water activities and great food and wine. Where luxury is laced with earthly beauty and heavenly night skies.

Surrounded by Milkwood trees, fynbos gardens and abundant bird life, four lovely stone cottages are available on the Mosaic reserve. Accommodation ranges from a one bedroom for two, up to a two bedroom with a large loft that sleeps a total of nine. All have kitchens, fireplaces with firewood, outdoor patios and barbecue facilities. Luxury bedding, pure linen, cotton towels and organic Rain bath amenities are provided. Units are serviced daily.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the 1892 Spookhuis next door. Duminy and Milkwood 2 also have Wi-Fi access.

Food can be catered from the Lagoon Cafe in the historic 1892 Spookhuis next door. Known for it's delicious down home Tennessee BBQ combined with South African Spices. Mosaic has an awesome organic garden where fresh vegetables and herbs are harvested daily for salads and roasting. Gourmet Cheese and charcuterie platters are also a favorite and everything here is homemade, from breads and desserts to jams and chutney.

Exciting activities can also be booked; quad biking, boat cruises, 4x4 beach excursions, kayaking and guided nature walks. Hours of fun can found playing boule at the 1892 Spookhuis.
