Dacht niet aan het belang voor haarzelf,maar voor ons.Gaf ons haar tel mee uit bezordheid als we een trip maakten,het chobepark in.Kortom,nergens kom je beter uit
Our stay during May - June 2016 at Muchenje by Eugene Vosloo, South Africa 05 June 2016 We were two couples that arrived 27 May 2016 departed 2 June 2016. The location is superb. Only about 8km from the Namibian border and 52 km from the town of Kasane. The chalets are excellent and well serviced.
Cottages are clean and meant for those who prefer self catering. Chalets are approx 100 meters from the Chobe river. The stove and fridge works well. All is neat, large enough for two and very well equipped. The manager Bronwen is a sweetie pie, kind, soft spoken and extremely helpful. We are happy and recommend Muchenje to anyone out there looking for no fuss, clean and affordable accommodation, friendly staff and friendly Bronwen. Well done.
Muchenje Magic by Elizabeth Fourie, South Africa 04 July 2016 Thanx for a most enjoyable fiew days in our comfortable cottage! Well-equipped, lovely view, peaceful, and cosy. A real nature-experience without light- and noise pollution. We bought a salad pack from the local veggie-garden - fresh and lovely! Muchenje cottages are reasonably priced and value for money. Friendly staff and lots of useful information about the Chobe region from the owners. We also noticed the most beautiful camping sites right by the river on the premises. Would definitely visit again. Francois & Elizabeth Fourie, Parys, Freestate S A Fantastic cottages by Elvera Viljoen, South Africa 12 July 2016 Muchenje Cottages are on the western side of Chobe which is quieter than the Kasane side. We went in peak time and were very glad we were on the quieter side since there is less vehicles on that side of the park. Just remember to take the gate closing times in consideration during the planning of your travels.
The cottages are really very good value for money. We enjoyed a braai on the spacious stoep. The cottage was clean and convenient. The camp is quiet. After nine at night, only the animal sounds can be heard.
The river can be seen from the front side of the establishment. The camp places also seemed very nice with some bushes/trees between the camp sites.
There is a little shop with the basics and I bought there good quality frozen vacuum packed sausage, chops and steak.
When I visit Chobe again, I am planning to stay at Muchenje cottages again.
