Mutamaiyu House

Situated on a panoramic hilltop, with hundreds of miles of sun streaked savannah spread out below, Mutamaiyu is a wonderful retreat found in Mugie Wildlife Conservancy, in Laikipia.

Mutamaiyu House has five beautiful cottages, which can be reserved individually or in exclusivity, each with its own fireplace, en-suite bathroom and Wi-Fi. The manor house, which is the private home of Nicky and Gaby Hahn, has a large dining room where the finest cuisine is served, and private lounges with fireplaces, where guests can curl up on a couch with a glass of wine. A flower-lined path leads down to a heated cliff top infinity pool with an amazing view.

Mutamaiyu offers guests a unique opportunity to live their own African dream by participating in ranch life and vital conservation work, watching ancient Pokot ceremonies, tracking the lions at the centre of the Laikipia Predator Project, as well as going on memorable game drives.
