N6 Guest Lodge is an upmarket and elegant bed and breakfast. It is situated 3 km from the quiet town of Aliwal North and next to the N6 highway en route to East London. We offer five spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds with quality linen and air-conditioning.

We invite guests to come and relax in this tranquil environment by the countryside. Amenities on the premises include tea and coffee in all the rooms, a beautiful garden with braai facilities, safe under-cover parking, a lounge area with a TV, Internet and fax facilities, credit card facilities and a remote-controlled gate. Dinner is available on request.

Aliwal North is the centre of a thriving farming community whose main products are wool, maize, wheat, beef and dairy. The town's principle assets are two popular hot mineral springs, which have extremely high concentrates of minerals and gases.

Accommodation by

Perfect road lodge, quite, safe, strategically placed (easy access to N6). Will definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable by

I found the N6 Road Lodge to be immaculately clean and comfortable. Quality linen and a firm bed made for a good nights sleep. Helen, who greeted me was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again on my next trip through the Free State and EC.

Excellent by

Unfortunately the drought has negatively effected the area but the room and hospitality at N6 Road Lodge were both excellent



A safe but not great choice by

Rooms are well appointed and comfortable but I wouldn't agree that N6 is "upmarket". The dinner is pretty ordinary and overpriced. And rather like the fare at fast food outlets, it comes with a Coca Cola. The crockery does not include a wine glass. No upmarket establishment would offer Ricoffy to those who feel like making themselves a cup of coffee.
