Naivasha Simba Loge

Located a mere 90 minutes from Nairobi, Naivasha has long been the place for those looking to get away from it all. Joy Adamson, author of Born Free made the shores her home, so did Lord Errol and a host of other well-known personalities. At 1880 metres above sea level, the air is cool, crisp and reinvigorating.

This world-class lodge offers 70 superior guest rooms furnished with wrought iron and mahogany furniture. The lodge has had the pleasure of hosting a number of international conferences, and together with the surrounding countryside offers an ideal location for wedding receptions, honeymoons and private retreats.

On arrival, you will feel your nerves quiet down as you set your eyes on the lodge's richly manicured grounds. From here, Mount Longonot, an extinct volcano, towers behind the lake imparting a soft purple tinge.

There is a wide-screen television in the lounge if you wish to catch up with the latest sports action, but if a good old dance is more your thing, then you'll be at home at the Ibis Pub

The Naivasha Simba Lodge is situated on the banks of Lake Naivasha, and offers exclusive lake frontage with direct access onto a private jetty. A sunset cruise by boat will give you breath-taking views and allows one to get closer to the water animals. In season guests can fish and expect catch carp, tilapia and the occasional blackbass.
