Nantucket 3 is a stunning self-catering house with beautiful views, situated in Knysna on the Pezula Golf Estate. Knysna is surrounded by hills and mountains, covered with indigenous vegetation. The house comprises three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious open-plan living, a large patio overlooking the town and lagoon, a braai area, and a lock-up garage.

Knysna is a natural paradise of lush, indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches. It is nestled on the banks of a breathtaking lagoon that is a protected marine reserve, and home to the extraordinary sea horse and over 200 species of fish.

Beaches, lakes, mountains and rivers provide endless opportunity for leisure and outdoor adventure. Within the town, craft shops, flea markets and cosy cafés beckon with small-town charm and hospitality. Exploring the Knysna forests, along defined walks with the occasional call of the Loerie, provides a complete escape into a former time when many elephants trotted these paths.

The harbour area is also home to most of Knysna's nightlife, with several bars, restaurants and clubs where patrons can enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset over The Heads.

Very disappointing by

I was terribly disappointed with the accommodation. Seeing as it was winter you would think the gas fireplace would work but sadly no and there was no matches to light it. Door handle was broken which meant you couldn't open it from the outside. The worst part was that housekeeping threw away my 3 chicken schnitzels which I had wanted to keep for after the Knysna marathon. Now I know why they insist on full payment before you book in so you have no leverage!

Nantucket 3 by

The unit is lovely but the management is not good. We booked and paid for unit 3 but upon arrival the key for unit 5 was left in an envelope for us because unit 3 was not yet cleaned. The units are not the same, despite the manager telling us they are, so we insisted to get unit 3. We therefore had to wait for the unit to be cleaned for us. We never received a remote control for the garage, even though we told management on the 1st day that no remote was given to us. We were promised the remote and never received it. We notified management of a broken towel handle that fell off the wall, they promised to repair it and never did. Cleaning services are available for R250 per day, but the service does not include clean linen, towels, ironing or vacuuming of the carpets - not really worth it. A small sauce pan and small frying pan are the only "pots / pans" in the house, impossible to cook any meal for a family of 7 people. One pot was delivered to us on the day we complained, and a box of pots was delivered 2 days later. So the let down is definitely management related, otherwise the unit is nice.
