Msuna Island is found at the confluence of the Msuna and the mighty Zambezi rivers, which is hidden away against the backdrop of the peaceful and scenic semi-arid Msuna Hills.
Njiri lodge is situated on one of the most beautiful stretches of this magnificent river. Located 150 km downstream from the world famous Victoria Falls and 120 km from Hwange National Game Park, makes it a perfect location.
Our double bedroom is equipped with twin beds, air-conditioner and a ceiling fan. There is an en-suite bathroom, with a large shower and toilet. We provide you with the linen and towels supplied for your comfort.
The children can also enjoy their time at the communal pool or at the playground area on the island
Located within walking distance from the river, anglers have simple access to the famous tiger fishing areas, such as the Tiger mile, that has stood their for quite some time. Cool off or just relax around the splash pool or under the thatched veranda, offering a stunning view to watch the resident hippo and fish eagles.
Fishing is explosive in this region with a variety of fish to keep anglers quite entertained. The fresh water game fishing experience is the adventurous angler's dream. The world-renowned, extreme fighting tiger fish is indigenous to this area. The tiger fish vary in size, and are plentiful in season, in this part of the Zambezi.
Fish species varies like the famous Tiger fish, Nkupe, Chessa, Bream and Vundu.
Various rafts and a speed boat are available for hire with experienced skippers and guides will gladly assist you with some fishing techniques, should you wish.
