Nzuri River Lodge is a newly built luxurious self-catering house within the Mjejane Game Reserve within the Greater Kruger and is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River. It has unsurpassed views into the Kruger National Park, perfectly located for amazing Big Five Game viewing.
The house is designed to allow the visitor an unforgettable African wildlife experience. Guests can relax on the pool deck and take a refreshing swim during those hot summer days. Enjoy a Barbeque/Braai in the boma area under starry lit African Skies and view the pod of Hippo's resident in the river in front of the lodge.
Nzuri is a self-catering luxurious five bedroom lodge, with four of the rooms offering an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower (Please note that all rooms and the inside of the lodge are non-smoking). All of the rooms at Nzuri are air-conditioned with four rooms offering king size beds covered by mosquito nets. A fifth room catering for children on a sleeper couch is also available (the house sleeps maximum 10). Two main bedrooms are river fronting with exceptional views into the Kruger National Park and all the rooms are designed with luxury and privacy in mind. The Lodge has an open plan lounge, fully equipped kitchen and scullery with open plan dining room (a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher allows for self-catering luxury). Folding glass doors opening onto a patio and deck swimming pool area allows for magnificent views of the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park. The lodge offers DStv facilities in the lounge and family room area and is serviced daily, Monday to Saturday.
Mjejane Game Reserve is a 4000 hectare Big Five Game Reserve, which is enclosed within the famous Kruger National Park, one of the world's last unspoiled wilderness frontiers. Direct access to the Kruger National Park via a low water bridge is one of the main attractions of Mjejane (note however that currently the Bridge is temporarily closed, and visitors needs to access Kruger though Crocodile Bridge or Malelane Gate). Mjejane offers the guest unspoiled indigenous bush and over 10km of Crocodile River Frontage, allowing for out of the ordinary game viewing sightings by means of open safari game drive vehicles. Mjejane is also a perfect stopover for guests wanting to combine a bush and coast holiday, with the Mozambiquen border a short 50km from the entrance gate. Prominent Golf Courses at Leopard Creek, Komati Poort and Malelane are within a 20 minutes drive from the reserve.
