Oaklands on the Knoll is a secure complex located only 500 m from Knysna central. It is nestled amongst old oak trees and beautifully landscaped gardens. Knysna is a great holiday destination for the whole family and it has been nominated as one of the top 100 sought-after destinations in the world.

Each Duplex Chalet has a private entrance, one parking bay with a shade net and a small backyard. Views of the garden and lagoon can be seen from the complex. Each unit features an open-plan lounge and kitchen. The kitchen offers a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove, electric oven and utensils for cooking your favourite meals. The deck has outdoor furniture and a built-in braai area.

There is also a daily cleaning service with the exception of Sundays and public holidays. Please bring your own swimming towels.

The pulsating town of Knysna is known for its high energy adventures, shopping, haute cuisine, the elusive forest elephants, the Knysna turaco, lakes, indigenous forests, mountains, beautiful coastlines and Knysna oysters. There is plenty to choose from so you will never have a dull moment.

Excellent accomodation. Very quiet even though only 2 minutes from Knysna Central. Same road leads directly to Knysna Waterfront. Child friendly. Would definitely go again.



Accommodation was lovely and comfortable - the views are magnificent. A couple of problems: the shrieking water pipes which could even be heard from outside our unit, and the TV remote didn't work properly (in both ours and our friends' units). The other issue was that the facilitator, Charles Miller, was very arrogant and condescending and did not make us feel welcome at all - very disappointing. Fortunately we didn't have much to do with him as we were out most of the time, but the little communication we had with him was not pleasant.

The apartment by

The accommodation was very nice and well serviced and was very secure. The directions are not correct, Pam Goldings office moved a couple of years ago and it is one kilometer up the bank and not 500 mtrs as advertised. The road is steep and used by locals going back and forth to the township so not ideal for walking.

Fabulous Accommodation by

Lovely place to stay, very neat and clean and well equipped. Spent a week at this complex with my two adult children. Found the manager and staff very friendly. Enjoyed our complimentary trip to The Heads as well. Only complaint is that it would be really convenient if we could have had an extra gate control as we didnt always come and go at the same time. Would be good for management to have a look at that. Loved the morning and afternoon visits from the Guinea Fowls. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to this beautiful spot!

Beautiful Garden Estate by

The accommodation was nice, special attention needs to be paid to overall cleanliness and maintenance. The kettle needs to be replaced and the bathroom a deep clean Other than that the stay was very nice and will definitely come again.
