Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve is individually and sumptuously appointed; suites are spread along the wave of the Indian Ocean and the reserve facing vistas overlooking sweeping plains. Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve is a sanctuary for weary souls, a place of breathtaking beauty, where animals roam free and guests are free to explore. All the suites at Oceana offer privacy, serenity and opulence in equal measure. From the moment they enter our peaceful reserve until they leave, our guests are the richer for the experience.

Our curio shop is situated close to reception and equipped with various clothing items branded with Oceana Reserve logos to remind you of your stay with us. There is also a selection of jewellery, souvenirs curios, books and gorgeous soft toys for children. The library adjoins the sumptuous lounge, where you can sit in the tranquil surroundings and page through one of our spectacular coffee table books, read a novel or even choose a DVD from our large selection to enjoy in the comfort of your suite. The textures of the lounge provide a fitting background for sultry evenings as they draw in, and provide a place for guests to meet and share anecdotes of the day.

With an abundance of cool and traditional spaces, the library and the lounge are perfect places in which to absorb the casual elegance and ambience of the lodge. In these and all rooms, local art and its culture are proudly displayed, and all flow seamlessly into open areas where a quiet drink can be taken on broad terraces. Oceana offers a wealth of options to be enjoyed in informal yet elegant surroundings.

At our central bar area, sip on a glass of wine in front of the wooden fireplace, or enjoy a cocktail while looking out onto the reserve, scouting for animals drinking from the waterhole or grazing in front of the lodge. From the central bar area, walk out onto the beautifully appointed courtyard and pool area, where you can lie on the pool loungers while soaking up a bit of sun, or cool down in the Africa-shaped swimming pool.
