Okapupa Camp is a bush camp situated right on the banks of the Kunene River, 45 km west of the Ruacana Falls. Relax in the shade of the Jackalberry trees and enjoy the peaceful and natural surroundings of the Kaokaoveld. This is also the place of the Dorslandtrek memorial fest, every five years.

This simplistic but very well-maintained camp offers 12 sites, with good, clean communal ablutions facilities that have flush toilets and hot showers. There is also a large thatched central bar and dining area available. Visitors are recommended to book in advance during peak season and when visiting in groups.

Activities that can be enjoyed in the area include day hikes, 4x4 routes, fishing in the river, bird-watching and canoeing.

Very clean, quiet and spacious campsites. Unfortunately the tap closest to the camps don't work and you have to walk to the tap closer to the river. There's a bar that is out of order and no swimmingpool. It is very central to all the attractions and easy to find alongside the road.

Okapupa Camp by

What a surprising exsperience did we have at this camp, quite and relaxsing. The camp been run by Petrus and Tiager and their wifes. Very clean and the best hot water shower we have on our tour throug Namibia. Will defeniatly go again. think it is under supported.
