Palmenecke Guest House is situated in Otavi, approximately 360 km north of Windhoek. Palmenecke offers affordable accommodation in style. Etosha National Park is just a two-hour drive away.

Otavi is a town of 4000 inhabitants in the Otjozondjupa Region of central Namibia. The towns of Otavi and Tsumeb to the north and Grootfontein to the northeast define an area known as the 'Otavi Triangle' or the 'Otavi Mountainland'.

Palmenecke Guest House offers comfortable en-suite rooms, each containing air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and double or twin beds.

We also have a well-equipped lapa and cater for informal and formal functions. There is a swimming pool, a bar and TV facilities available.

Guests have access to secure parking and lunch and dinner are available by prior arrangement.

On July 1 1915, the German Army was defeated at Otavi by South African troops; on June 9 they surrendered nearby and signed the Khorab Peace Treaty. There is a memorial to commemorate this event a few miles outside of Otavi.
