Panorama Guest House high on the western bank of the Kowie River has views living up to its name!.We have 3 dbl en-suite rooms with panoramic views from the veranda over the pool and garden to the Royal Alfred Marina, the Small Boat Harbour & East Beach. All three rooms have sliding doors opening onto the veranda. Our rooms all have DSTV (accommodation bouquet), a fridge & tea-and-coffee making facilities. One room has a limited self-catering option. We are within walking distance of town, the Kowie River and West Beach. In addition we are across the road from a good restaurant. We have an inverter in case of load-shedding! We believe in personalised service and between us speak English, Afrikaans, Dutch & German.Port Alfred offers a variety of activities to suit all requirements from game viewing, hiking, horse riding, walking on endless beaches or just relaxing. Rob can also take you birding up the Kowie River by boat. As an avid birder, the trip is usually rewarding.

This was like being at home, even the pets welcomed us and kept us company! Definitely worth another visit!

Panorama Guest House is the best B&B I have stayed in (and I have stayed in a few!) Everything was good - the friendly welcome at the gate, the bed- and bathrooms were large, nicely done out and spotless. Filter coffee in the room! A restaurant directly opposite the B&B is wonderful when you have travelled all day and don't want to see the car again that night. And breakfast next morning was great, in a bright and relaxed environment and friendly conversation with host and hostess.

We were very happy during our stay at Panorama, we had a lovely room with comfortable beds. We enjoyed a fantastic supper right over the road at the Links and were spoilt by our hosts for breakfast the following morning.

What was not to love??? Amazing, genuinely friendly accommodating, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. Comfortable rooms. Spacious bathrooms, gorgeous view (day and night), lovely lovely breakfast and good conversation. Thank you once again...
