Pineapple Cottage

Pineapple Cottage is located in the lovely fishing village of Kalk Bay and offers guests comfortable accommodation within walking distance of the harbour, beach, restaurants and shops.

The Victorian-style cottage has a fresh and light seaside ambience. It consists of two bedrooms with a queen-size and twin beds. The two rooms share a bathroom with a 150-year-old cast iron bath. Guests can also make use of an outside shower with hot and cold water. Fans and heaters are also available.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, a fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, a washing machine, a dishwasher as well as tea and coffee facilities. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table. The open-plan lounge is equipped with a Satellite TV and opens onto two courtyards. One courtyard has an outside under-cover alfresco dining area and barbecue facilities, while the front veranda has a view of the harbour. There is also a small patch of lawn under a large hibiscus tree. Please note that the cottage is non-smoking and pets are welcome by arrangement.

The main road is lined with interesting cafés, restaurants and shops, and guests can stroll along the road and enjoy the atmosphere. The Simon's Town train line stops right in Kalk Bay and there are four tidal pools for safe swimming. Guests can visit Fish Hoek and Simon's Town or head up Boyes Drive for some spectacular views and whale watching.
