Pongola Tropical is located in the sub-tropical town of Pongola, which is situated in the heart of the prosperous sugar cane plantations of Northern KwaZulu-Natal. Pongola is also the last residential stop on the way to the much sought-after holiday destinations of Kosi Bay, Sodwana Bay, Mozambique, and Swaziland.

Pongola Tropical is easily accessible from the N2, and its lush garden hosts numerous species of bird life.
