Protea House

Protea Huis provide comfortable, modern accommodation in Theresa Park in the north of Pretoria. Please note there are no TVs in the bedrooms, but there is one in the TV lounge next to the rooms. No DStv but Open View HD. No WiFi. Communal balcony on the first floor. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities.

Guests can choose between Angelier Main Bedroom or Protea Room 1 or Eagle Room 2.

Angelier Hoofslaapkamer has air conditioning and a small balcony. The en-suite bathroom is has not been modernised yet, but is is clean and there is a shower over bath, basin, and toilet.

Protea and Eagle (rooms 1 and 2) don't have air conditioning but desk fans. Can be booked together as ideal unit for family of 4. Protea and Eagle have double beds and shares a communal bathroom with bath and shower. Separated by a safety door from the rest of the house on request.

There is another bathroom with a shower on the ground floor for guests to use. Tea and coffee facilities are available, and meals are available on request. The rooms are serviced daily.

Situated next to Protea Room 1, is a TV room that is equipped with a small fridge as well as a TV and opens onto a communal balcony. Guests are welcome to make use of it. It is not suited for children because of the open swimming pool, stairs, etc.

Protea Huis is just 9 km Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute, 12 km from National Zoological Gardens, the Union Buildings and Loftus Versfeld Stadium, and 18 km from Medunsa.
