Sable Mountain Loge

Unassuming, Sable Mountain sits on the North West boundary of Selous Game Reserve.

Named after the rare and beautiful Roosevelt Sable Antelope whose footprints were found on-site during construction in 1999, the lodge has six stone cottages and five tented rooms including two honeymoon suites. There is a great two story villa, fantastic for families and small groups, set on a hilltop with some of the best view in Selous.

The Lodge was built almost entirely by the Sable Mountain team, and one can meet most of the original members today. Relax for a drink in the unique and friendly ?Landrover's Return? pub before dinner and meet our founding members, who have a few stories to tell.

After a sunny game drive one can cool off in the pool or take a stroll down to our water hole and relax in our hideout, and see who comes down to the water to drink.
