Sandy Bottoms Cottage

A cosy cottage that is quiet and tranquil, situated inside the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, in Pringle bay, walking distance from the main beach and Buffels River.

Sandy Bottoms Cottage has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one en-suite, the bedrooms comprise of a main bedroom with a queen-size bed, downstairs bedroom with one three quarter bed, and an upstairs bedroom with two single beds, accommodating up to five people max. Linen for the beds and bath towels are provided. Guests will have to bring their own beach towels.

There is a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen and living room and dining room area with a fireplace. There is a TV and access to DStv at an additional cost per day. Guests have access to a garden, shaded by a beautiful tree, at the seating area, where a portable braai will be available if required. The cottage is child-friendly, there is a lovely lawn for children to play, however, the premises is not fenced, regret no pets allowed.

Pringle Bay, is an hour's drive from Cape Town, along the magnificent scenic Clarence Drive between Gordon's Bay and Hermanus in the Western Cape. There are many activities to do in the area, such as, hiking, cycling, fishing, wine farms, visiting the penguins in Betties bay, our local lamas around the corner, to name a few, and there is a lot of beauty to be seen in this area, with lots of fynbos and birdlife and wildlife.
