Sea Orchid Holiday Letting is beautiful retreat overlooking the Indian Ocean along the south coast, in the town of Hibberdene.

The unit, which accommodates up to six guests, features a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge, a dining space, and a balcony with stunning views. The accommodation also offers guests braai facilities, laundry amenities, a swimming pool, and parking on the premises.

Hibberdene is considered the gateway to the Hibiscus Coast, a seaside town situated 97 km south of Durban, halfway between Scottburgh and Margate. It has five exquisite beaches, four of which are netted and thus are safe for swimming. Hibberdene's beaches are popular because of the warm Indian Ocean flowing across its shoreline, making diving, snorkeling and scuba diving very pleasant.

Unpleasant experience by

The place we stayed at was quite unpleasant. It needs a lot of attention. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Firstly location is 100% on point Bedrooms were comfortable Bathroom needs improvement-a proper shower is need Kitchen needs proper crockery- plates and cups are all old Couches needs to be replaced- springs are sticking out The unit needs to be aired out more often- there was a bad smell wen we entered the unit. We had to open all the cupboards so we could get rid of the smell. My biggest disappointment was when we arrived at 2pm there was no electricity - we found out that the power went off at 5:30 am and only came on at 8:30pm We woke up on Friday morning to no water and power went off at 11am and only came on at 4pm We woke up to no water again on Saturday and only came on at 3pm Safari should be in contact with the municipality when maintenance will take place and not book these units.

This was a small but cozy place with an exelent closeness to the beach. We had a great time. Maintenance was a great concern. All the trelidoors were rusted closed and a deep clean was needed.
