Serenity

Serenity is situated close to Nhabanga on 1 ha of land with a 100 m beachfront. This is an idyllic spot to get away from the stresses of the city to relax and unwind. Shady trees and lush lawns complement the holiday atmosphere.

We offer four self-catering houses, of which three sleep four guests each and one sleeps six guests. We have our own borehole and all units are connected to the national electricity grid. We have a beautiful swimming pool with a rock waterfall for guests who want to break away from the ocean.

The village can only be reached by 4x4 or boat and the sand road to the village is a 23 km stretch that will normally take close to an hour to complete. This remoteness adds to the attraction of the area. The Portuguese influence is strong in the Mozambican cuisine and a variety of restaurants prepare dishes that will tantalize your taste buds.

Canoes are for hire and trips to the mouth via boat can be arranged. There are scores of sand tracks that can be explored by quad bike or 4x4. The lagoon lends itself to water sports, so bring your boat or jet-ski. Swimming is safe due to the shallowness of the lagoon and the water is always warm. At the mouth you can do safe snorkelling and, depending on the season, you can see whales and turtles in the ocean.
