Shallow Pig Cottage is situated on a small but working farm 11km (15min drive) outside of Parys and 30min from Potchefstroom.

The self-catering cottage has two bedrooms and one full bathroom. There is an open-plan kitchen nook, a dining table, a lounge area, an indoor fireplace and outdoor braai facilities. The abode also offers guests parking on the premises in a dedicated carport.

Attractions in and around the area include the Parys Golf Course, the Vredefort Dome and the Vaal Dam.

Thanks to Juan and Pippa for a lovely, well equipped Cottage and especially for their hospitality and friendly approach.
The past few days were just so bliss, calm and rejuvenating spending on the farm with only the sounds of the birds and wind blowing thru the trees.
Thanks for the variety, honey on sale fresh from the beehive and eggs to be collected from the chicken pen. Walking trials for the energetics and explorers....

Het nie gewee daar is nog 'n stukkie aarde waar jy so na aan ons Hemelse Vader kan wees soos juis hier nie.. ver kan jy uitkyk oor die rante terwyl die stilte met slegs voelgeluide en sonbesies gebreek word. Die henne se kekkel herhinner jou dat eiers nie NET in houers by die supermark verkoop word nie en dat 'n Hoe Hand ons elke oggend laat ontwaak... Dankie Jean en Pippa... Julle plekkie is baie spesiaal...ruim en silwerskoon. Ons kom beslis weer....GOU!!...........Charles & Celia
