Shearwater On Sea is situated within walking distance from Myoli Beach in the coastal town of Sedgefield. This comfortable, self-catering resort offers visitors the chance to explore all the Garden Route has to offer, and is ideal for families looking to spend quality time together.

The self-catering units vary in size, with open-plan living areas, separate bedrooms, bathrooms, full equipped kitchens, and patios with braai facilities. Each apartment is equipped with a TV with a DVD player and selected DStv channels, a fan, linen, bath towels, and a safe. Guests are required to bring their own beach and swimming towels. The casual dining restaurant is perfectly situated on the edge of the swimming pool, and offers breakfasts, drinks, milkshakes and small meals until 4pm.

Myoli Beach is Sedgefield is well known for its kite-surfing conditions. Kite-surfing schools in the area provide lessons for beginners, teaching them to control a kite and read the winds before they head out to face the sea. Other activities in the area include wake-boarding, stand-up paddling, surfing, canoeing, paragliding and mountain biking.

Complete disappointment and the least value for money I have ever experienced. The rooms are not in good condition; the stove was falling apart and rusted; cupboard doors falling apart; the fridge did not work, we could only use the freezer part of the fridge. We had to beg them to change our bedding - getting fresh towels is a random event and some days we had to share one towel between four of us - we landed up using our beach towels as bath towels. Our toilet leaked throughout our whole stay despite us asking them on numerous occasions to fix it. There were no plugs supplied in the bathroom. Don't be misled by the photos on the site; we were extremely disappointed by this resort and would recommend it to anyone.
