Stannards Guest Lodge recently reassessed and confirmed 4-Star Guest House, is located in a peaceful and leafy area on the Eastern outskirts in Knysna, 2 minutes away from the Lagoon and world-class golf courses, and 5 minutes from the famous Heads, town center and vibrant waterfront.

The four Standard and the two Superior bedrooms are tastefully decorated to a high standard, they have their own private entrance and patio overlooking the landscaped garden. Room facilities include Smart TV or OVHD, fan, heater, tea tray and Wi-Fi. The two luxury self-catering garden cottages include spacious lounge with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen LCD TV with OVHD, and safe.

Tasty and generous breakfasts can be enjoyed indoors or on the deck overlooking the garden and the large pool, prolific with bird life. ?Afro-chic? lounge has a fireplace for chilly winter days and a little ?boutique? for something different. Day trips to explore the Garden Route can be made so easily from this ideal base. And your hosts, Jaco and Lezelda, will always be available to share their local knowledge of the area and arrange bookings for activities and restaurants.

A weekend in Knysna by

Good english hospitality, thoroughly enjoyed having private entrance and swiming pool a must. Superb Cooked Breakfast!

A Great Place by

We ordered one night and stayed for 3. 2 adults and 3 kids - we had two rooms with private connecting corridor . The place is lovely . The design is amazing. The hosts where friendly and very helpful. We fully recommend !!!

Feedback Stannards by

Patrick and Helen are suburb hosts at this lovely Lodge. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.  Everything is perfectly maintained and the lush garden adds to the relaxing environment.  We enjoyed the pool, French bowls and private bar. The self catering garden cottage we stayed in, was the best spot on the premises - private, but not far from the fun. We thought that the breakfast menu could include more warm foods like bacon and freshly grilled eggs. Anneen, Petrus, Emilie and Sané.
