Sugar House

Sugar House is a four-bedroom house set over three floors with a large swimming pool. The beach is a couple of minutes' walk from the house and the first and second floors offer stunning views of the sunsets out over Prawn Lake.

The house has two bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms with sliding doors that open onto a private terrace overlooking Prawn Lake. There are two rooms with twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have optional air-conditioning, overhead fans and mosquito nets. On the first floor there is a bar, satellite TV and DVD player. The bar area has a table tennis table opening out onto a covered terrace and enormous swimming pool with a wide choice of seating areas. The house is fully staffed including a cook.

There are many activities in the area to be enjoyed. Away from the beach and sea is Mida Creek where you can go for boat and dhow trips. A guided tour of a local Giriama village can be arranged. Slightly further afield is Gede which is 11 km from Watamu. Gede is a National Museum of the Gede Ruins.
