Friendly polite staff by

Booking through Safari.com was efficient, and cheaper than a walk in. Capital Hotel is however getting very expensive, the rooms are old, beds are archaic, aircons make a noise, and comparative priced hotels provide much more value than Capital Hotel. At a walk in rate of $ 174 for a standard room, the hotel is way overpriced, but just about the only one in Lilongwe. Staff are however friendly and polite, and always a pleasure to stay in Malawi.

Wonderful stay by

It was an eye opener for me to be in Malawi, the hotel Staff were more caring and friendly @ Capital. then i moved to Sunbird Livinstonia near Malawi Lake, because i wanted to see more of Salima and the lake, Wonderful staff indeed, hotel has everything, they came to roll down the mosquito net for me etc. wonderful stay and hope that they keep up the good work.

I had a most enjoyable stay and was delighted with the very high standard of the staff, accommodation and meals and will definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Lilongwe.
