The backpackers offers affordable farm-style accommodation, ranging from chalets, a family cottage, and a Main House, with facilities for guests use such as a swimming pool, a braai area, and parking on the premises.

The feeling is pure country, even though shopping centres with banks, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. The backpackers is ideal for people who do not like to be locked up in the midst of a metropolitan area, even for a few days.

Great place by

We had a great time in a great place with friendly owners. All good, clean rooms, strong showers, kitchen and lounge perfect. As backpackers go, this one is a truly good deal. Thanks to the owners and specifically Silke for opening their place for us. Regards Boland Underwater Hockey team

Disappointed by

Unfortunately we think that our bedding was not clean. It certainly was permeated with the smell of cigarette smoke. We had asked for 'non smoking'. Our credit card was not acceptable. Cash only. I do not think it was made clear enough on the website. We paid the deposit from our card account.

Great stay by

Had all we needed. The place is clean and tidy and I loved all the chickens in the yard (though the roosters were a bit noisy during the night). It is fully self catering and has a very well equipped communal kitchen with plenty of mugs, plates, pots, pans and other cooking utensils. We are strongly considering going back to just spend a relaxing couple of days there to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We did not stay! We booked and paid, but when we arrived, the room was really not clean and reeked of old smoke. Never again!!!

The rooms was a bit cold at night. There could be a bigger sign outside in the main road. But overall it was great thx.
