This comfortably furnished 126m² self-catering home, is the ground floor of the main house, with a separate entrance. Quiet and serene, it is almost on the water's edge with superb views of the Lagoon from every room.

Neat and tidy, well equipped accommodation. Langebaan is a malaria free area, a sleepy holiday town and qualifies as one of the best locations in South Africa with abundant bird-life.

Attractions in the area, include the West Coast National Park, the West Coast Fossil Park and the Kwa Ttu San reserve.

Simply wonderful by

Had a wonderful, wonderful stay at Sunset Cottage, Langebaan (right on the beach). Brooklyn and I explored and explored while Grandpa was attending a seminar not too far from Sunset Cottage. The accommodation and view - just perfect. Will return when next in Langebaan.

A few negatives by

Although cottage is in a perfect position with great views, there are a few negatives. Firstly, nice braai but very dangerously position. Only space for one person on the minute landing. The driveway is terrible. The fitted sheet on the queensize bed was way to smaal and popped off the bed all the time. The bathroom type air freshener in a kitchen cupboard was very unpleasant. There are no hooks in kitchen for dishcloths or hooks behind the bedroom doors for a gown or enough space to hang or unpack ones clothing. The seating in the lounge is most uncomfortable. Such a pity, because its these small things that can really spoil a holiday.

Beautiful Views of the Lagoon and the Cottage was spotlessly clean. The kitchen crockery and pots and pans and cutlery need desperate attention!!!!! The pan could not be used it was so badly warped and 3 teaspoons for 4 people is not enough. A cloth to wipe counter tops would have been marvelous! Towels which are not badly worn are a good idea too.

Convenient, clean and comfortable stay. Could do with more towels, a hairdryer and better pillows.
