Swallows Nest Guest House is situated within walking distance of the lagoon and the beach. You can be assured of a very memorable visit to Plettenberg Bay, which is called "The Jewel of the Garden Route."

We offer five luxury rooms which are all luxuriously appointed to cater to your every need. Each room includes a complimentary sherry on arrival, a TV with DStv, a bar fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, a ceiling fan and a private patio. Electric blankets and heaters are supplied for winter and there are laundry facilities available.

The unique and most exciting feature of this area is the abundance of marine mammals in the bay, which is flanked by two marine nature reserves and therefore rich in food for the resident whales and dolphins. During July to September every year, the southern right whales migrate to this part of the Indian Ocean to calve. There are boat trips all year round to see brydes whales and dolphins.

The breakfast was super by

Swallow's nest has an amazing bunch of people who are extremely warm & friendly. The breakfast was super..the best spread that we came across. The B&B is extremely comfortable and luxurious. Gerald helped us choose some brilliant restaurants for dinner!

Very nice place to stay by

We had booked what we thought was one of the smaller rooms but this was huge and designed in a mini suite style. The place was clean and the staff friendly and helpful with local places to visit and restaurant recommendations. Easy to find but perhaps not as near to a swimming beach as we wold have liked, this still only being a 3/5 minute drive. Very near to a beach with good walks though

We stayed at Swallow's nest on our way to Addo elephant reserve and enjoyed it so much that we decided to stop there again on our way back to Cape Town and stayed on for an additional two nights. This provided a beautiful environment in which to stay, which was relaxing and welcoming. The breakfast was superb, with the dining area overlooking the ocean. The staff were able to accommodate any breakfast needs, offering home made scones baked that morning. I felt that it was the attention to detail which made the Swallow's nest so special, such as cotton buds in the bathroom, bath soak, complimentary sherry etc. We would not hesitate to return.

The stay was wonderful! My girlfriend enjoyed every moment of it. The guest house was situated in the right place and the view was great. The rooms are divine. You can hear the waves of the sea rumble while you enjoy a peaceful evening in your room. I will definitely make use of Swallows Nest again.

We found this Guest House to be well run and comfortable. Excellent location, all staff were excellent, breakfast was delicious,good value for money and would definitely stay here again. Thanks To all at Swallows Nest for making our stay a memorable one.

The rooms were well furnished, the water hot, the view was brilliant(upstairs) and the breakfast delicious. And In general warm and welcoming from the cook to the proprietor.

The space above the fridge where the kettle was standing etc. is very cramped.
