The Blacksmith's Cottage

The Blacksmith's Cottage is a cozy self-catering cottage with old-world charm, historically situated along the Zoute River in the oldest town on the West Coast. It can accommodate up to two people.

The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and makes use of an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Fresh linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.

The lounge is equipped with a fireplace for the colder evenings, as well as a TV.

Guests can enjoy a sundowner on the stoep, or make use of the braai facilities in front of the cottage.

The Blacksmith's Cottage is 450 meters from the center of town which offers various cafe's and restaurants, and guests can visit the Hopefield museum. The town is surrounded by over 500 different species of fynbos, and the area is known for its honey. Hopefield is located 30 kilometers from Langebaan, 40 kilometers from Saldanha, 45 kilometers from Velddrif and 49 kilometers from Paternoster, making it a great stopover.
