The Knoll Historic Guest Farm is situated at the gateway of the Midlands Meander close to Pietermaritzburg. Set on a hill where it's cool and airy in summer and mysterious and misty in winter, Hilton is home to hedgehogs, hobbits and the odd myth. We offer a variety of accommodation options to suit all guests in peaceful surroundings. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with stunning views over the forest and mountains. For the adventurous traveller, the area offers many different activities such as mountain biking, horse riding, canopy tours, fishing, golf and bird watching. We have 18 units on the farm. These are for our premier rooms, we also are able to accommodate 10 budget travelers in our Coach House unit, 5 rooms with double bunks, shared kitchen facilities/barbecue and shared showers plus two outdoor showers for the adventurous at heart.
