The Amalfi Hotel has 36 studio rooms located a short distance from the Seapoint promenade. These units all have fully equipped kitchens and air-conditioning. The units each have either a double or twin beds; a sleeper couch can be arranged on request for additional guests. The units are serviced daily and off-street parking is available. The apartments are within walking distance from the beach, shops, restaurants and public transport. The area is a hub of activity with locals and visitors walking and jogging or just people watching the sunset in the late afternoon. A number of children's parks run alongside the promenade and there is a chlorinated swimming pool at the pavilion.

THE AMALFI HOTEL RECENSIES (73 %) Perfect by Toni Petzer, South Africa 23 June 2011 We were impressed with the suites - they had a new, clean feel about them. The staff were very friendly and Ian went out of his way to make sure we were happy. I will definitely stay again. Mr David Norman - Amalfi Suites by David Norman, South Africa 11 August 2011 On arrival at Amalfi I was given suite 108 which was very sparsely furnished and did not contain all of the crockery, utensils etc that was required. I was moved the following day to suite 109 which was more comfortable and given all of the things that I requested. I realise that the suites have not been operating fo very long, however, I find it strange that you would put people into suites that are not fully equipped and wait for them to complain and then move them somewhere else. Surely there should be a standard inventory and all suites should be equipped the same. The picture on the website is obviously of one of your better equipped suites and gives rather a false impression.
I did however enjoy my stay, I found the place to be very clean and well serviced and I found all of the staff very efficient and very pleasant and helpful. I will certainly recommend the Amalfi and hope to return some time for another visit. Not all hotels provide this accommodation. The service was also prompt, friendly and responsive. I would revisit Amalfi Great stay at Amalfi in Seapoint by Pragasen Naidoo 31 May 2018 Amalfi was a great and central place to stay on my recent visit to Cape Town. The staff and in specific Fazel and Marie-Clare where friendly and accommodating that makes the hotel even more pleasant. Downstairs from Amalfi there are some great food venues that's just a step away from your hotel room. Looking forward to using the place again on my next trip.
