The LemonTree House is our guesthouse in the heart of the beautiful town of Robertson in the valley of wine and roses and at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains. The old townhouse is set in the tranquil surroundings of half a hectare of gardens with large oldpecan nut and oak trees creating a shaded, green haven in the middle of town.

We would like you to enjoy our place and your stay with us. In summer feel free to use our large saltwater swimming pool or relax with a bit of reading in the garden. In the winter you can sit around the fireplace in the cozy reading lounge, with a glass of local Muscadel or Port, until it is time for bed.

Our Philosophy is that quiet and peaceful surroundings feed your soul as much as our hearty breakfast feed your body, so whatever you do when you visit us, we want you to leave rested, refreshed and with a big smile on your face.

Lemon Tree House stay by

We stayed at the Lemon Tree House upon recommendation of other family members who had recently stayed there. Unfortunately only one room had been available at the time of our booking which meant that we could not choose the room we were recommended and had to take the Herfs Room. The room in itself is not bad but should most certainly not be marketed at the same price as the other rooms. The bathroom (if you could call it that) was very tiny and cramped. My husband could only sit on the toilet sideways as there was not enough space to sit any other way (please note that my husband is of average male height) and even that was a bit of an acrobatic accomplishment as the tiny space is also shared with a corner basin. I would like to forewarn all that this is certainly not a large or tall person friendly room! Please do book any of the other rooms as I am sure that would be better suited.

Me and my partner stayed at the Lemon Tree house when we attended a wedding in Robertson over this weekend. It was really relaxing and great vibe at lemon tree, the breakfast was yum and the garden very pretty. The host was kind and helpful and left us to our own devices just the right amount of time. We had a great stay and will be back!! Awesome shower too! :)

it was nice staying lemon tree with childrens. It would be great if you keep access to oven in common area to warm food.
