The Merry Crab is a delightful self-catering beach resort carved out of the Admiralty reserve which fringes the Indian Ocean.

It is favoured by birders, golfers, and couples wanting to escape the rat?race.  While the studios, casitas and cabanas offer the utmost in privacy there is also the lapa, poolside pub and Potjie Boma for those who feel like company. Units are serviced daily (in the mornings) and all one needs to bring are beach towels. For groups who do not wish to self-cater we offer meals by arrangement.

A wonderful week in an excellent location. Staff and accommodation first class. Lives up to the blurb `Escape the rat race`. Would recommend to all for either flop and drop or for the many activities located around the area.

Merry Crab by

What an awesome, quiet, private little Casita we had for the 2 of us. Perfect for a real getaway from all the noise, business and irritations of normal every day life! We hardly saw or heard anyone around, which was exactly what we were after. The facilities are great, the unit has everything you would need, with parking included and communal entertainment area, if that's what you require i.e. pool, bar, lapa at reception. Thank you very much. Will be back some time, hopefully soon.

Chilled, Calm and Relaxing by

We had a lovely stay at the Merry Crab. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The continuous sound of the ocean and the tranquil forest around us de-stressed us quickly and our stay was nothing short of awesome!

The Merry Crab is a delightful place. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The beach is just a short stroll away and very peaceful. Close to shops and restaurants but far enough away for peace of mind. Very clean, everything that you need for a break away. We would certainly be back !
