The Richmond Cafe and Rooms is situated in the historical Loop Street of Richmond near the well known Book shops and Museum.



The Richmond cafe and Rooms has two units. Room 1 has two bedrooms, one with a queen size extra-long bed and the other with two three-quarter beds. A three-quarter daybed in the common area sleeps the 5th guest. Bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. There is a slipper bath that is screened off in the common area near open fireplace. There is a small private court yard. Room 2 has a queen size extra-long bed with a large en-suite bathroom and private court yard.

Richmond is situated on the N1 national road, halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town. The Cafe open all day early and serves coffee and meals all day to Guest House patrons and passers by.

It is was a one of the very best experience...clean and beautiful.....It was a absolute "Wow" experience !!!! The rooms are decorated with the Best of the Best....Nicol and Klaradyn with their staffmembers are Excellent ! A MUST place to visit and sleepover. The decor of This place is amazing , inside and outside, I haven't got enough words to describe it....It is breathtaking beautiful !!!

The rustic but beautiful, modern-farmstyle rooms, decor and food, truly made our stop-over in Richmond felt like a bit of a destination as part of a road trip. Herb gardens everywhere, European decor magazines and plunger coffee in the room gives it a tripple tumbs up. Loved this unusual place!
