The Whyte House

The Whyte House is a luxurious guest house situated in that Karoo town of Graaff-Reinet. Our standard luxury suites offer king-size extra length beds with top quality bedding and en-suite bathrooms with a bath and shower.

There is also a small desk that can be used for working on your laptop. All our standard rooms are wheelchair friendly. Our non-smoking executive or honeymoon suite offers a stunning view of the Mountains surrounding Graaff-Reinet from the bed or lounge area. This luxury suite has a spacious open plan design. Your room is also equipped with, among other things, Wi-Fi, a safe and DStv. Because this suite is on the upper level, it is not wheelchair friendly.

Camdeboo National Park offers two 4x4 routes for the adventure seeker. The Koedoeskloof 4x4 trail provides approximately 9 kilometres of rugged roads and scenic views. The trail can only be done in a 4x4 vehicle (no 2x4's with diff lock) and a round trip can be completed in about 4 hours. It is well worth setting a day aside to enjoy a picnic or braai at the highest point of the trail in the Winterhoek area of the Park.
