Thulani River Lodge is a guest house that stands on an extensive property with a big garden of more than 8000 square metres through which a small river stretches. It is easy accessible in only 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes away from the Cape Town City Centre.

All of the rooms and suites are of a generous size and furnished in a modern African style. They offer lovely baths and their own terraces or balconies with spectacular panoramic views. The self-catering chalets offer fully equipped kitchens.

Our long-standing experience in the catering business enables us to prepare an unforgettable vacation for our guests. We guarantee perfect service, personal care, friendly staff and an excellent kitchen.

The area has numerous attractions such as the World of Birds, Table Mountain, the vineyard at Groot Constantia, the Two Oceans Aquarium, the Castle of Good Hope and the trendy Camps Bay Beachfront. Sport enthusiasts will love golf, mountain biking, paragliding and surfing. There are numerous wonderful beaches for guests to enjoy.

Fantastic guesthouse, superb accommodation and breakfasts, really welcoming host family, I would really recommend this establishment!

Beautiful grounds, good location (if you have a rental car--which we did).

Quiet and Relaxing by

Thulani Guest Lodge offers luxury African themed accommodation on a lovely large piece of land situated at the bottom of the hill in picturesque Hout Bay. It has beautiful gardens and a peaceful and natural ambience permeates throughout. The hosts were welcoming and our needs were met. Our room was very private and nicely decorated and we enjoyed a private balcony that looked over the gardens. We were cooked a delicious breakfast in the morning which was served outside in the sunshine. The only facility that this lodge lacked for me was a TV in the bedroom and Satellite channels, as the lack of meant we missed our rugby match. Besides that it was a very enjoyable stay. This would be a good choice for someone looking for a quiet and relaxing break.

A hearty welcome and very helpful and friendly hosts that made us feel at home the week we spent at Cape Town. The meals were excellent and original, the wines delicious as well. We will stay here again when we come back to South Africa.
