Tilodi Safari Lodge offers a true safari vacation in a luxury tented camp. It is ideally located near the border of Zimbabwe in the Chobe National Park and offers 10 stylish tents with all meals and some activities included.

The tents are all well equipped with comfortable furnishings. They have electricity and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water. Each tent has extensive living areas overlooking the Kasane Forest Reserve. Their positions ensure privacy and stunning vistas from the spacious bedrooms. In addition to the lodging facilities, there is a restaurant and a boma where guests can enjoy scrumptious meals and traditional music around the log fire.

Activities include game drives, boat cruises at sundown, birdwatching over the wetlands, village tours and a swimming pool at the camp. Other activities include golfing, fishing and spa treatments.

The camp is in a malaria area and guests must take the necessary precautions. Rates exclude transfers, spa treatments, game drives, boat cruises and gratuities.

We stayed at Tilodi for 2 nights.Staff very helpful and friendly,rooms neat and clean.Definate ly worth money spent! Tilodi can better on the signboards directing guests form highway to Tilodi Lodge.

Absolutly nothing by

On arrival no booking was secured and we had no place to stay, staff very unfriendly. Lodge all locked up. My worst experience of the entire 23 day trip. Had to find alternative accommodation. This Lodge should not be on your books at all. I believe the owner is a person called James, who to this day still has not returned my call. On a totally different note we booked a trip to Victoria Falls with Tilodi Safari's and Tours, only to find out that it is owned by the same person. Long story short we (6 persons) booked the trip having 4 of the persons over the age of 65. On arrival at the border crossing we were informed by the driver that 2 more persons were going to join us, this was strange as our vehicle could only accommodate 7 passengers. James forced the driver to cram 8 passengers with luggage into this vehicle putting all our lives in danger due to overloading and to drive sitting onto of each other. Tilodi is a very dodgy outfit and would need to be investigated by SAFARINOW. I will most definitely NOT recommend this establishment.
