Tindiga Tentenkamp

Tindiga Tented Camp is a beautiful, small traditional camp located close to Lake Eyasi, the lake of east African bushman. Overlooking the shrubland of the Eyasi Ecosystem, one can see the distant hills of Ngorongoro - the ultimate African experience.

The camp is situated close to Qaund'ded Village; to the western side you can see Mount Masumbuku and to the north is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its surrounding volcanic hills. To the west, just behind Lake Eyasi, are the big plains of the Serengeti. Just 1.5 km from the camp is Lake of Eyasi, a seasonal salt water lake that almost completely dries up in the dry season.

The camp offers 10 classical cream-coloured canvas tents with en-suite showers and flush toilets. In the evening, the set-up is like a fairytale, with traditional hurricane lamps in the grounds and along the paths and tents. There is also a cosy, rustic dining room with a small intimate bar and a boma.

Due to the nature of the camp, personalized service and quality is our aim. The camp blends in beautifully with the natural environment and we try our best to run the camp with an eco-friendly approach, protecting and preserving the natural resources.
