Tintswalo Atlantic

Tintswalo Atlantic is the only lodge within Cape Town placed on the Atlantic Ocean water's edge. Situated just outside Hout Bay off Chapman's Peak drive, within the Table Mountain Reserve. The views of the Sentinel and open ocean are breathtaking at both sunrise and sunset.

The Tintswalo Atlantic suites are authentically decorated to emulate the experiences and colours of various islands of the world. The air-conditioned suites are all situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Each has its own unique view of the ocean and the majestic Sentinel across the bay.

The suites provide supreme comfort and privacy, and whale watching is somewhat effortless from your suite at the correct time of year. Spacious en-suite bathrooms with slipper bath, his and her basins and shower enjoy an uninterrupted sea view. Extra facilities are an in-room fireplace, drinks bar and underfloor heating. The suites are also equipped with an air-conditioner, DSTV and DVD Player.

Of course, for those seeking some well-deserved down-time, Tintswalo Atlantic's heated pool and poolside service makes for a marvellous afternoon of leisure and sunshine. On cooler days, bring a book into the lodge lounge and while away the hours in front of a crackling fireplace.

Tintswalo Atlantic's daily guest activities can be arranged per individual requirements but guests may want to explore the Cape surrounds or the Winelands on their own; they may also opt for the calmness of a lunch on the lodge deck or to share some cooking tips with the executive chef in the open plan kitchen before an intimate dinner watching the sun set behind the Sentinel.
