Travellers Rest, a bed and breakfast in Prince Albert, offers a twin and three double rooms all situated in our maturing garden. All four of our en-suite garden rooms have full air-conditioning/heating their own private entrances and private stoeps to relax on. The rooms all have USB charging points, natural reed ceilings and large showers. There are complementary tea, coffee, bottled water and rusks, off street parking and Wi-Fi. A full English cooked breakfast is available if required.

Excellent stay by

Although rooms very basic but modern and clean. Would have liked a small table in Shower room instead of putting your bathroom stuff on the floor.
Fantastic breakfast . Owners very nice and will go out of their way to help you if needed. Cost also acceptable.

A charming and friendly stop-over with comfortable air-conditioned rooms and fantastic showers. Within walking distance of all restaurants in town.

Friendly and accommodating proprietors with great knowledge of the surrounding areas and best routes to take on your way to Cape Town.

Wonderful Full English Breakfast in the morning surrounded by a beautiful indigenous garden, visited by many chirping red bishops at the bird feeder.

Great Stay by

We used Travellers Rest as a stop-over during our trip from Johannesburg to Simon'sTown and discovered a gem. Nestled in a beautiful garden setting and at just 40km off the N1, it was well worth the detour and we will certainly plan this stop-over in our future N1 journeys. Prince Albert is a beautiful little town and our stay was made extra special by our amazing hosts, Bryan and Jude.
