The lodge was established in 2003 and has been awarded four stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. The scenic property is surrounded by lush forests, cascading waterfalls and rolling mountains.

There is an abundance of birdlife, indigenous forests and wild flowers that will leave you feeling totally relaxed in the tranquility of nature.

Trout River falls is a well-established country lodge providing luxury self-catering accommodation, excellent service, and perfect fly fishing conditions for our guests.

Our charming lodge is the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway or an ideal stopover when traveling to the Kruger National park and other low-veld destinations. Trout River Falls is easily accessible off main road R540 between Dullstroom and Lydenburg.
