Twin Lake Safari Loge

Twin Lakes Safari Lodge is a rustic and intimate lodge set in the beautiful surroundings of Bunyaruguru great crater field; 270 m above the plains, a few metres outside the Queen Elizabeth National Park of Uganda. This location gives it a perfect and wonderful view of the sunset, Lakes Edward and George, the park and the Rwenzori Mountains.

The lodge is perched on the edge of the escarpment adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Its exclusive position, affords it some of the most spectacular views.

Our cottages have been designed with a feel of the contemporary African culture in mind, a perfect blend of design and comfort. We can accommodate up to twenty guests in eight spacious canvas tents under permanent grass-thatched roofs. Each lodging has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and a hot shower and spacious tub. From the private shaded balcony, you get the breathe taking view of the Queen Elizabeth National Park below, a perfect view of the golden African sunset over Lake Edward and the mighty Rwenzori Mountains, the Kazinga Channel and the flat-topped acacia trees where the occasional elephants graze and wander by.

Our restaurant serves a choice of international and local cuisine with a bar offering various kinds of drinks.

The surrounding area also boasts of plenty of rare wildlife species, birds, rich culture and various crater lakes. Guests can enjoy game viewing, community walks, forest reserves, fishing village, cotton and coffee plantations, and traditional dances among much more. Also, nearby, is the famous Kyambura river gorge, home to habituated chimpanzees.
