This malaria-free, family-owned private game reserve comprises nearly 9000 hectares of pristine wilderness that spans across five different ecosystems. Guests can enjoy the riverine forest, the valley bushveld, the savannah grasslands, fynbos, and acacia woodlands.
The reserve is home to more than 25 species of game including Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, White Rhino, Hippo, Hyena, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Nyala, Kudu, Warthog and a variety of Antelope. More than 280 species of birds nest on the Reserve. A unique feature is the ability to walk freely and safely among the game in an area of the reserve.
The exclusive Ukhozi Lodge accommodates 20 guests in 10 superbly appointed, luxury, air-conditioned suites, crafted from log. With modern bathrooms, private decks and private plunge pools, the lodge promises to be an unforgettable experience.
