UPPER HOUSE RECENSIES (100 %) Absolutely perfect by Sandy Hammond, South Africa 18 April 2016 We stayed in Willow Cottage for 3 nights and had a lovely time. It's immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and thought has been given to small things that all make one's stay very comfortable. It's position so close to town, the garden and mountain views make Upper House your best choice in Clarens. Thanks Natalie. Even had a french press for that morning coffee. The cottage is off to one side, so it's very private. A short 5 minute walk and you are in the middle of the town square. We will be back soon! Lovely Stay by Lesley Myburg, South Africa 28 January 2017 Right from the start we had a good feeling about The Upper House. Natalie was there to greet us and showed the 6 of us to our accommodation. 4 of us stayed in Willow Cottage which has 2 en suite king size rooms. Beautifully decorated and the biggest shower I have ever seen in the one bathroom - the other bathroom has a lovely bath tub where you can relax. Fireplace in the lounge/dining area. Kitchen is more than adequate with an oven microwave fridge/freezer etc. Natalie supplied us with tea and coffee including filter coffee and plunger (so wish all establishments did this). Nice verandah area overlooking beautifully kept gardens. The other couple in our party stayed in the the Church Annexe which was just as beautifully decorated. Natalie provided us with fresh rusks and milk and also an adequate breakfast of lovely fresh berries, granola/muesli and yoghurts. The Upper House is very secure and in easy walking distance of restuarants and the main square.
