Vaal de Sioleh is situated 20 km outside the beautiful town of Parys, in the Free State. Our accommodation, chapel and wedding venue is right on the banks of the mighty Vaal River with beautiful views all around.

We offer 18 self-catering, fully equipped units with a beautiful view over the river. It is also the ideal place to stay for yellow-fish enthusiasts. On our premises, we have a good variety of wildlife which can be viewed by taking one of our walking trails or the 4x4 routes.

We have a thatched-roof chapel on the premises, set right on the banks of the Vaal River. When facing the priest, the windows look out over and along the Vaal River, providing a very romantic setting for your big day.

Exactly what we needed for our family mother's day weekend breakaway to Parys. Everything was perfect. Accommodation had everything we needed, was clean and we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature.

I loved the nature, how quiet and peaceful it was. Lodge should put extra linen there for cold nights, the braai was a little too small, complimentary coffee and sugar like all other self catering locations do won't hurt. Please wash the linen and curtains...if the stains didn't come out-replace maybe?
