We are situated approximately 400 m from the beach and tidal pool. There is safe off-street parking for guest vehicles.We have three fully equipped, self-service units each with its own braai and entrance. This adds to the privacy and home experience. Skulpies can accommodate six people. Galjoen can accommodate four persons and Anex can accommodate two persons. Visitors and tourists to the area are important and VAN EEDEN ACCOMMODATION welcome you with open arms. Come to Strandfontein, the Jewel of the West Coast, and enjoy West Coast hospitality at its best. Bring along a camera, a video camera, binoculars, a good book on the flowers of Namaqualand, a sun hat, sunblock, and an emergency kit. Come and enjoy Matzikama, a world of contrasts.Strandfontein is a holiday destination with exceptional coast lines and sunsets. The area has clean beaches and is a safe environment, so beach walks at night are great. It is also an ideal overnight or getaway destination, especially for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life to relax and enjoy what the coastline has to offer.Strandfontein has exceptional plant species on the cliffs and a labyrinth. Southern Right whales visit from May to November. Activities range from kayaking and swimming, to hiking and exploring the West Coast crayfish trail. There are also other exiting activities such as fishing, surfing, paragliding, river rafting, stargazing, 4x4 trails, the Flamingo Bird Route, and Namaqualand flowers in season.Strandfontein is centrally situated for the guests who want to visit Vredendal, Klawer Wine Cellars, Birdfield wine tasting, San Rock art and river rafting, Lambertsbay, Vanrhynsdorp, Gifberg Waterfall, Maskam hiking trails, Van Rhyn museum, Koekenaap, achaelogical walking trails, and Nieuwoudtville.Please note NO CARD FACILITIES. Mrs van Eeden and her husband were very friendly. The flat were fully equipped and furnished. We will definitely go there again.

Heerlike naweek en dit het gevoel soos ons eie huisie by die see! Sal dit beslis aan beveel vir 'n ruskans in 'n pragtige omgewing.

Ons was baie tevrede.  Het in 'n privaathuis tuisgegaan met 'n lifelike uitsig oor see.

 Henda is vriendelik en behulpsaam.
